Accommodations
Reservation Deadline: October 20, 2009
The room blocks at the conference hotel and affiliated hotels have been filled. All these hotels have additional rooms or other types of rooms at higher rates. Please contact the person indicated for more information. Reservations can be guaranteed with a credit card or a deposit equal to one night made by wire transfer. Cancellation must be made 24 hours in advance or guest will be charged for one night.

American nationals holding USA passports need an entry visa for Uganda.
Naturalized American citizens of Ugandan descent need an entry visa for Uganda.
Nationals of the countries listed below are exempted from visa requirements for travel to Uganda. They do, however, need to have a current passport issued by their respective countries.
Visa fee is US$ 50 for single entry (multiple entry not available). Single entry visa is valid for three months from the date of arrival. Processing time for a visa is 2 to 3 working days. A visa can be obtained at the airport upon arrival in Uganda but it is not recommended as many airlines will not let you fly without a visa. The embassy recommends you obtain your visa in advance. Visa requirements:
3.Must submit original Passport valid past the date of your expected departure from Uganda. You are advised to ensure that your passport has a validity of at least six months from the date of your intended travel.
4.Correct visa fee, letter of invitation/introduction, if traveling on business.
5.Applicants may be requested to submit additional supporting documentation.
6.International Inoculation Certificate against yellow fever.
Countries that do not require a visa:
Members of COMESA: Angola, Burundi, Comoros, Eritrea, Kenya, Malawi, Mauritius, Madagascar, Rwanda, Seychelles, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe
Others exempted are: Antigua & Barbuda, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Fiji, Gambia, Grenada, Jamaica, Lesotho, Malta, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Solomon Islands, St Vincent & the Grenadines, Tonga, Vanuatu, Cyprus.
The Entebbe International Airport is linked to all major cities all over the world. Airlines that service Uganda include: Air Rwanda, Air Tanzania, Air Uganda, British Airways, Brussels Airlines, Egypt Air, Emirates Airlines, Ethiopian Airways, Kenya Airways, KLM, and South African Airways.
Shuttles
Shuttles will be available at the airport to take you to the conference venue or any of the conference hotels. If you are not staying at one of the conference hotels, you must arrange transportation through your hotel or upon arrival at the airport.
Shuttles will be provided between the conference and other conference hotels. Check back closer to the event for shuttle schedules as well as shuttle stops.
